You're Not Alone

Feeling disconnected? Lost? Lonely? Maybe Bored? Guess what… you are not at all alone…

“The average person in the U.S. has only one close friend, according to a study published in the American Sociological Review. One in four people have no confidantes at all. Zero. To make things worse, 75 percent of people say that they're unsatisfied with the friendships that they do have…”

Despite being more connected that ever we are also feeling more isolated and lonely than ever. What the fuck is going on? This is not healthy. As human beings we are social creatures and need real interaction with our fellow humans to be at our best.

Health Risks Associated With Loneliness
Loneliness has a wide range of negative effects on both physical and mental health including:
• Depression and suicide

So my dear reader, why the fuck are you not setting up a board game party?

Playing games (in person) with a group of people checks a lot of connection boxes that are insanely good for your health (mental and emotional).
Surrounded by people? Yup.
Thinking Strategically? Yup.
Team work and communication? Yup.
Laughing and interacting? Yup.
Learning about yourself and others? Yup.
Kicking everyone’s ass and winning? Maybe…

So, I ask again. Why the fuck are you not organizing a gaming party? Do yourself (and the world) a favor and call some folks you know, set up a meetup, break out some games, and improve your life.

You are welcome.

PS – we have awesome games if you need one to get started.
