® or ™?

We love Dunce Cap Games.  Obviously.  So much so that it has become a part of our lives, forged in fun, and a little sweat…and, lots of late nights. 

In the mail, here at DCG Worldwide Headquarters, the US government sent us a little package, one that has been percolating for some time.  Almost a year in fact.  Dunce Cap Games has now been trademarked!  That’s right:  Dunce Cap Games ®!

It doesn’t mean we’re special (but, we are).  It just means we’re protecting ourselves from unfair competition from using our name, symbol, etc. It’s a process though, but, then, working with any government agency is going to be.  The process started way back in September of 2018.  A few months went by.  A few modifications were needed.  Some samples passed over.  Then, approval.  Then waiting.  Waiting to make sure no one had any objections, they held their peace.

Here it is, with more to follow.  Feels official, very official, and suitable for framing.
